GBA Mode Functions
Hold A + B + START + SELECT while playing a GBA game to soft reset.
Insert a GBA game and a DS game and hold B when the system is turned on. The system will bypass the warning screen and begin running the GBA game.
DS Mode Functions
Hold L + R + START + SELECT to engage a DS soft reset while playing.
Birthday Greeting
Enter a chat room in PictoChat on the date that you entered as your birthday in the system settings. The message "Happy Birthday! Today is birthday!" will appear.
The starting sound of the DS will also change on your birthday.
Abort Automatic Play Mode
After turning on Automatic Play mode, hold Start when turning on the Nintendo DS to return to the main menu instead of starting the game.
